The Adenauer era was shaped not only by the first Chancellor but also by many of his contemporaries, the Adenauerians. They molded the time politically, economically, scientifically, culturally, journalistically, and also in sports. ›Adenauerianer‹ provides an exciting panorama of the founding period of the young republic through portraits of well-known or forgotten contemporaries and also items that are primarily not meant to stand alone but rather represent the topics addressed. Adenauerians in portrait: including Rudolf Augstein, Günter Büch, Felix von Eckardt, Elisabeth Flickenschildt, Josef Frings, Franz Greiß, Gruppe 47, Gail Halvorsen, Werner Höfer, Herbert von Karajan, Josef Kroll, Hermann Pünder, Hans Schwippert, Caterina Valente and … Halla.

The evening will be moderated by Micha Kreitz, a member of the Lit.Eifel advisory board and board of directors.
