Blackout Survival
Nov 7, 2025 - Nov 9, 2025
Dahlem
What to do if the power goes out? If certain foods are unavailable or supermarkets close for a period of time?
Unlikely? - Not at all. Especially nowadays, supply lines are becoming increasingly fragile. The Federal Ministry recommends an emergency supply for 14 days. But is that enough? And what are really sensible precautionary measures that everyone can easily implement themselves?
Experience from previous crises shows time and again that even the most sophisticated crisis planning does not have an answer to all eventualities in the event of chaotic developments. For example, what happens to our lives if there is no electricity or oil in the short or long term? What happens the next time the financial system finally collapses or medical care breaks down?
What are the most important measures in the first 48 hours - and in the next three or twelve months?
Based on many years of experience with extreme survival, we have seen time and again how many mistakes people make because they overlook crucial aspects of crisis preparedness. The mental attitude of those affected by an unknown challenge is also surprisingly decisive.
This workshop is about very practical things that could be relevant for you in a crisis. We will show you skills that you can try out yourself in the course and use in an emergency. Using concrete, practical examples, we will show you, among other things, some techniques that were part of the survival repertoire in earlier cultures as a matter of course - but are hardly known today.
