On a walk to the Görresburg Matron Temple. On the way, we will learn about the background to matron worship in Celtic and Roman times and look at the historical development and the archetype of the mother, as it can be constantly experienced in nature. We follow the traces of the threefold goddess into modern Christianity and discover exciting connections between ancient culture and the big questions of modern life. This opens up hopeful paths into the future. On the reconstructed temple square with matron consecration stones, you can experience the contemporary quality of a sacred place. Those who wish can linger there afterwards.

The route is approx. 4 km long, sturdy shoes are recommended.
