Stolberg
We are the Forest Musicians, and we’re playing a concert just for you!
If you’re deep in the forest and listen closely, you’ll discover many different sounds: the tapping of the woodpecker, the call of the jay, the rustling of mice in the leaves. Every sound is like an instrument in this great melody of nature.
Even the trees join in: when the wind sweeps through their leaves, it creates a soft rustling. Raindrops drum on twigs and leaves, and sometimes an old tree trunk creaks in time with the beat. The whole forest resounds—but only if you really listen to it.
Become a conductor: Close your eyes and listen for a while. How many different sounds can you make out? Maybe you’ll even hear the whole forest orchestra.
