Lookout point with a refuge and a wonderful view of Olef.

Winding paths lead through the forest in the Oleftal up to Kuckucksley.

From the rock ("Ley" means rock) mine has a beautiful view over the Oleftal and can take a first break in the small refuge.

The observatory of the astronomy workshop "Stars without Borders" on the International Place Vogelsang IP in the middle of the Star Park Eifel National Park regularly offers public sky observations.

No sooner have people left the horrors of the two world wars behind them than the next war is already looming - the Cold War. Eifel-Blick "Bergfried"

At an altitude of 470 metres above sea level, you look south-east over the historic castle town of Reifferscheid. The village includes the castle complex with the outer castle and the castle ring as well as the valley settlement at the foot of the castle.

Katzensteine

In the "Mechernich Forest", which extends from the eastern city limits of Mechernich to Satzvey, the Katzensteine rise on the border with the Veybachaue near Katzvey.

Obere Burg / LVR Industrieumuseum

First mentioned in 1259, archaeological excavation finds suggest that a moth existed here in the 11th/12th centuries: a tower hill castle, a wooden defensive tower on a mound – surrounded by a moat.
