A distorted voice echoes from the colorfully lit bushes in Seepark: It’s all about ghosts and how to catch them. But this isn’t a spooky horror show—it’s a humorous guide for kids on ghost hunting, because the answer, with a wink, is: “Of course, only with paste.” You can discover this and much more on Saturday, October 24, at “Beach Culture by Night – Halloween Edition” in Seepark Zülpich.

The Halloween celebration at Seepark is designed to bring joy—not nightmares—to young children. It’s a spooky evening for the whole family. In the evening, between 4:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., Seepark transforms into a spooky scene, offering plenty of (spooky) fun for the whole family. Amid blazing campfires, Uwe Reetz will delight young and old alike on the beach stage with children’s songs to sing along to. Spooky sounds, Halloween decorations, and much more will set the perfect atmosphere. Those who dare can listen to spooky stories in a friendly gathering, get transformed into a spooky character with face painting beforehand, or carve spooky pumpkin faces. Ghosts are hiding in the dark corners of the park and the nearby forest. But no one needs to be afraid—the guests from the underworld are actually quite harmless.

“A little bit of a scare is part of Halloween night, but we don’t want to traumatize our guests, young or old. Here, we have jack-o’-lanterns and ghostly sounds instead of fake blood and chainsaws,” says Laura Faxel from the “
” event team at Seepark Zülpich.

For a particularly action-packed experience, the Flying Fox climbing and zip-line park will remain open all evening and, thanks to atmospheric lighting, offers a mystical experience. Fly like bats: The brave can climb through obstacles in the forest in the dark and whiz across the lake at speeds of up to 40 km/h. Since this is the last major event of the fall, the park’s “Strandbud” restaurant is offering a 20% end-of-season discount on its entire menu. Plus, kids can look forward to a special spooky drink and a Halloween ice cream sundae.
