AMISTAT is the brainchild of twin brothers Jan and Josef Prasil, whose musical journey once began as street musicians and took them all the way to major festival stages. Today, they inspire an audience of millions via platforms such as Instagram and Spotify - and yet remain true to their special closeness to the audience. Born in Germany and raised in Italy, they started their musical career in Australia. Their sound moves between sensitive, harmonious two-part vocals and powerful, rousing arrangements. Each song tells its own story and makes an AMISTAT concert an intense, emotional experience. Especially in the intimate atmosphere of a small stage, their music has a special effect. "The community foundation is very happy that it was able to get this extraordinary duo to perform at the Scheunenbühne," says Waltraud Stening, the organizer. "This is by no means a matter of course and is often the result of consistent persistence. But we also hear time and again that not only the audience but also the artists celebrate the stage and the venue and enjoy being here."
