For thirty whole years, the likeable and truly Kölsch singer-songwriter has been on the road, singing together with the people, writing songs for himself and many other performers from the cathedral city, and is considered a "professional Kölsch."

That he would even end up "from the little pub boy in the arena and the stadium" is something little Björn probably never dreamed of, when he wrote his first song in 1996 in a makeshift basement studio and – initially for five more years with his father – got people to sing at small events.

In the meantime, "the man with the hat" has made almost 800 (!!) sing-along concerts on Friday nights at Gaffel am Dom, has filled the Lanxess Arena for 10 years with his format "Kölle sings" – by the way, he also set the visitor record there in 2018 with 20,216 tickets sold – and is regarded as a figurehead and pioneer of the now very numerous sing-along movements in Cologne and nationwide. Heuser is the original. He was the first to get people to sing Kölsch songs with just a guitar. In the pub, in the brewery, even regularly before fifty thousand people in the Rheinenergie Stadium during the big Christmas sing-along or at the home games of 1. FC Köln.

There’s good reason to celebrate "30 years" with a corresponding anniversary tour – and of course with a new album! Because besides his role as frontman, Björn Heuser is also a prolific songwriter for himself (12 studio albums!) and other performers. Unlike the brewery concerts and party formats, these cabaret evenings are seated, with a focus not only on singing along but also on listening. Heuser's charming, humorous, and informative announcements and stories about the songs are the spice of the soup! The setlist includes the great Kölsch hits, but also new songs from his own pen.

Free songbooklets for the audience make it easier to sing along with the newer songs and ensure plenty of fun during the communal singing. Everyone is welcome to sway, sing, and laugh!
