For our grandparents, the use of medicinal herbs was often taken for granted:
Yarrow tea for stomach upsets and stomach cramps, steam baths with thyme for colds and coughs, throat compresses with onions, ... plus a big enough pinch of time to heal.
Today, interest in folk medicine is on the rise again. We are also learning to trust nature and its healing powers again.
On a herbal tour, we get to know the locations of the Eifel's native medicinal plants. You will learn about the ingredients, their healing effects and their areas of application. Of course, you will hear tips on collecting and drying them. Afterwards, tinctures and, depending on the weather, oils and a balm will be made for your personal meadow pharmacy.

Please bring small jars with you. Max. 6 people.
