Guided hike "From Saint Mokka into the Wild Kallt Valley"
It's time to go out into nature again and rediscover familiar places. Often it is the small gestures that make a big difference. In the middle of the forest, a simple sculpture honors one of these moving moments of humanity in difficult times. Experience an unforgettable hike through the impressive landscape of the Nordeifel. Along the way, we will encounter different facets of the Kall - sometimes as a wild river, other times as a tranquil Eifel river. At the bottom of the river, in an idyllic spot, we will take a short break and let the special atmosphere wash over us. During the hike, we will pass by several interesting locations. Visit a geological saddle at Teufelsley and learn how it was formed about 300 million years ago. We will also get a close look at a coal kiln. Before the final ascent of our hiking tour, we have the opportunity to discover a beaver lodge. Once we reach the top, we will have a great view of the second largest reservoir in Germany - the Rursee. Our hiking day is now coming to an end, and we will reach the parking lot again in just a few minutes.
The tour is ideal for getting a taste – relaxed, informative, and close to nature. Discover the beauty of the Eifel in a very special way!
