When Professor Pickles finds a very old dinosaur egg, he suspects that there may be other dinosaur fossils on the island. It's time to call in Fireman Sam! Pontypandy Island is renamed Dino Island and Fireman Sam and the firefighting team prepare to continue their research. Mandy joins the search and is determined to write the best article ever. And after some urging, the curious Norman Price is also allowed to take part in the search together with Professor Pickles' assistant. But they soon get into trouble and find themselves trapped in an ancient, undiscovered cave! It's dark and quiet here... They look for a way out of the cave and switch on their flashlight.
