Description: The municipality of Blankenheim, the Uedelhoven Heritage Association, and the Volksbund Deutsche Kriegsgräberfürsorge e.V. cordially invite you to a special musical event on September 26, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at the Blankenheim Comprehensive School: “Music for Peace,” a double benefit concert featuring the Reservisten BigBand Rheinland and the Reservistenmusikzug Trier, is dedicated to peace, remembrance, and international understanding. By attending the concert, visitors directly support the diverse peace and educational projects of the school and the Volksbund. Especially in a time marked by wars, conflicts, and social tensions, such bridge-building initiatives are becoming increasingly important. Due to a lack of government funding, the Volksbund relies on private support. Attendees can look forward to an extraordinary concert that uniquely combines music, remembrance, and community—diverse, lively, and moving, just like the peace work supported by your attendance.
