the world we build

Ausstellung: the world we build/t

Oct 21, 2026 - Dec 20, 2026

Zülpich

What does the world of tomorrow look like to you?

About 230 young people answer this question with artistic works in the new special exhibition "the world we build/t – Visions of Young Art." The exhibition was created in cooperation with the studios for cultural education in Brühl and will be presented from 16.10. - 20.12.2026 at the Römerthermen Zülpich – Museum of Bathing Culture. The artworks were produced in 2026 as part of the project 721 yesterday | today | tomorrow under professional guidance.

Starting from a region shaped by the flood disaster of 2021, the young people in this participatory project create their own images of the future: What do we carry with us from our experiences – and what worlds do we want to build anew from it? Between departure and reality, visions, projections, and models of a world of tomorrow emerge. They offer a variety of art forms – from animations, video art, photography to performances, sound experiments, and installations.

Your opinion is also important: At a mood barometer, you can steer the democratic process yourself.
