Klaus Tenner (*1964 in Cologne) studied free painting at the Werkkunstschule Cologne and was a master student of Dieter Kraemer. Since 1992, he has been working as a freelance artist in Cologne and is a member of the Künstlersonderbund Germany, Realism of the Present.

In his painting, Klaus Tenner combines realistic perception with an independent, often abstracting language of forms. From the intensive
observation of his environment, he develops images in which light, color, and form are condensed into a subjective yet precise reality. His works make the artistic process itself comprehensible – the ongoing engagement with the possibilities of success and failure.
