Last year, the Motorcycle Church Service had to be held at a different location and in a modified format due to construction work on the village community center. This year, the event returns to Breitenbenden and will take place in a new setting on the newly redesigned village square. The parade following the service will also have a new destination: the Kupferkessel in Schönau.
Despite these changes, much will remain familiar; the Sacro-Pop band Spirit will once again provide the musical accompaniment, and Hardy Hawinkels will once again lead the service.

The service begins at 11 a.m., and breakfast will be available for a small fee starting at 9:30 a.m. The group ride will begin immediately afterward.
Motorcycles, trikes, and quads are eligible to participate in the ride, provided they are at least in the light motorcycle class. Participation is open to all attendees of the service.
This year’s motto is: “Headwinds? We’ll keep going!”
“We’re glad that, after all the headwinds of recent years, we can once again celebrate a motorcycle service in Breitenbenden together with our visitors,” said the organizing team.
The collection from this year’s motorcycle church service will go to the Mechernich chapter of the German Child Protection Association (Deutscher Kinderschutzbund Ortsverband Mechernich e.V.). The donations will support the important work being done for children, youth, and families in the region.

Everyone is invited: bikers and non-bikers, young and old.
