Schwanen-Apotheke
Bad Münstereifel
At the Schwanen Pharmacy Museum in Bad Münstereifel, you’ll immerse yourself in the fascinating history of pharmacy. The historic pharmacy was run by the Bresgen family from 1806 to 1994 and is now a lovingly restored museum.
You can explore the dispensary, which has been preserved almost exactly as it was, a historic laboratory, and the former storeroom. The “Scent Trail” is particularly fascinating—here, you can not only learn about various medicinal plants but also smell them for yourself.
In the Stephinsky Room, you’ll learn more about the pharmacist and honorary citizen Franz Maria Ferdinand Stephinsky—the inventor of the famous Stephinsky stomach bitters. A special treat that you can still take home with you as a souvenir today.
