On the edge of the Eifel National Park, Anna and Ilja van de Kasteele accompany their guests on riding tours, day rides, and seminars through the forests and stream valleys of the Rureifel. At Naturally on Horseback in Kreuzau, horses are treated as partners: They live year-round in the pasture or in open stables in herds and are equipped with custom-made saddles. Experience days and riding courses offer a gentle introduction to the world of horses for beginners or returnees. Trekking rides and day rides cater to experienced riders with experience in trail riding. The groups are deliberately small, the accompaniment is individual, and the catering consists mainly of organic, regional ingredients. Anyone wishing to experience the Rureifel on horseback – mindfully, closely connected to nature, and in genuine communion with the animal – is in exactly the right place.
During our multi-day rides, accommodation is included with us on the farm or in a nearby guesthouse. Individual overnight stays can only be booked in combination with riding offers.
