Eifel-Blick "Jugendherberge" in Simmerath-Rurberg

The Eifel-Blick is situated at an altitude of 470m near the Rurberg youth hostel. The view extends across the Rursee lake as far as the Eifel National Park. The entire visible forest area on the horizon is part of the Eifel National Park, the only one of its kind in the whole of North Rhine-Westphalia. To the left, the view extends over the Kermeter. Further to the right is the Dreiborn plateau and there is a wonderful distant view of the Vogelsang IP area. The high tower of the facility, which rises into the sky, is clearly visible in the distance. A great place to stop and enjoy the view.
The panorama board on site helps with orientation and provides interesting information about the visible landscape.
The Eifel-Blick is located directly on the L166 country road between Simmerath-Kesternich and Simmerath-Rurberg. The parking lot is clearly visible and is located above the Rurberg youth hostel, making it easy to reach by car.
