The observatory of the "Sterne ohne Grenzen" astronomy workshop, located at the International Platz Vogelsang (IP) in the heart of the Eifel National Park—a designated "Star Park"—regularly offers public stargazing events.
High-performance telescopes and wide-field binoculars are available; they are situated in the heart of nature and offer a view of the entire starry sky.
The observatory grounds are not a public space; the observatory is secured by an alarm system and monitored by a security service.
The observatory is a partner organization of the “Nordeifel—Sustainable Travel Destination” initiative.
