Natural history tour to the most famous daffodil area in the Eifel. Spring here is dominated by the wild daffodil, which grows in its millions. The daffodil blooms throughout April, the main flowering period is highly dependent on the weather and can vary by two weeks from year to year. In addition to information about the daffodil, visitors can also find out about the river pearl mussel, which is still found here - the only one in NRW - and the reintroduced beaver. The renaturation measures carried out in the Fuhrtsbachtal valley, which have given nature a completely different appearance than it had 20 or perhaps 60 years ago, are discussed, as are the beech hedges typical of the area.
