The project brings together 280 young people with different cultural backgrounds and realities of life to work together for human rights, democracy and peaceful coexistence in the region.

The project, its objectives and cooperation structures will be presented at a press conference at 10.30 am.
This will be followed by an interactive kick-off event from 11 am to 1 pm. After a keynote speech by Julia Lombeyda Schnaus of the German Association for the
United Nations e.V., NRW Regional Association on global causes of flight, young adults will show a performance of film, song and dance and give an insight into their experiences with topics such as flight, migration and justice - openly, directly and creatively.
The event is not only aimed at project participants, but also at other young people and adults in the region who would like to be inspired and enter into conversation. The special feature: The audience can actively participate, ask questions and get in direct contact with the participants afterwards in the foyer or on stage. There will also be information stands from partner institutions and local initiatives to find out more about how each individual can get involved in civil society.
