For the chilly, damp season, Kermeter Alpakas at the Luisenhof in Heimbach Hergarten offers a particularly pre-Christmas event.
Those looking for a fun distraction during the dreary season can come to the Winter Magic – Stable Time. The wintery, festive decorated courtyard and the decorated stable invite guests to linger. One experiences alpacas, chickens, rabbits, cows, goats, and donkeys up close, learns a lot about the animals, and can take plenty of photos. 
The waffle hut is open, and the participation fee includes fresh, delicious Belgian waffles and hot drinks, as much as one likes. In direct proximity to the alpacas and donkeys, guests enjoy the tasty waffles and coffee. Moments of tranquility and reflection allow one to take it all in.
The approaching dusk, shimmering lights, and the company of alpacas, donkeys & Co. set the mood for the Christmas season and promise a lovely time.
