When the sun is blazing in August and the air is shimmering with heat, herbalists' hearts beat faster. This is when most herbs unfold their greatest healing power. This was the time when, from time immemorial, women with healing skills set out to collect medicinal herbs for the coming winter.

We also set out to collect and bind local herbs according to ancient custom. Folk remedies, history, traditions, magic - all of this accompanies us on our summer walk together.

This event is part of the "With the viola da gamba through the Eifel" series of events organized by "favori". Afterwards, from 5 p.m., the organizer offers a concert for the consecration of herbs with drama, 17th century music and the consecration of herbs in the parish church of St. Johann Baptist in Ripsdorf for all those interested.
