The tour leads downhill through the national park to Heimbach, past the Coronation Trail to the "Eifelblick Luna", via Hengebach Castle and past the spa gardens.
After the hike, we take the Rursee-Bimmelbahn (cost € 4.50) to the "Dormio" vacation village. From there, we continue past the overflow of the Rur dam and along the T 5 above the hydroelectric power station, through the Steinbach and Herbstbach valleys, up to Mariawald Monastery.
We reach the monastery at around 3 p.m., where there is the opportunity to take part in a "pilgrims' meal".
