Verena Krautwald, a linguist at the LVR Institute for Regional Studies and Regional History, looks in her lecture “Ratsch am Kappes - Rhineland Expressions” at the peculiarities of the Rhineland language. She illuminates various aspects of the Rhineland dialect - from pronunciation to curious expressions to typical phrases.
