Garden cities - a higher level of health and well-being?
In many respects, 19th century England is an example of economic and social development in the German Empire. Much earlier on the British Isles, the process of industrialization changed the entire living environment of the people with beneficial, but above all threatening, inhumane consequences. And it is an Englishman who propagates the idea of garden cities, which leads to the founding of a German garden city society that shows the public alternatives to the rampant housing misery of the working class in the cities.
