On April 19, 2026, it begins again. This year, the charity hike will cover the small and large routes of the Rursee Marathon course.

Power Track (42.195 km) at 8:00 AM
Do you want to know what it's all about? Then the large Rursee round is your route: 43 kilometers full of nature, elevation gain, and perseverance. It's all about performance, sport, and power – about that good feeling when your legs are tired, but your mind says: I can do this! Perfect for anyone seeking a real challenge while doing good with every step.

Connoisseur Path (16.5 km) at 1:00 PM
The 16.5-kilometer route is ideal if you enjoy being active but not with extreme programs. Challenging enough to feel proud when you finish – and still very doable, even if you don't hike every day. Plenty of Rursee atmosphere, fresh air, and a nice rhythm for all who want to challenge themselves – step by step for a good cause.

The Fun Round (6 km) at 3:00 PM
Small, fine, and just right for everyone who wants to go together: The 6-kilometer Fun Round is perfect for families, friends, colleagues, or anyone who just wants to participate in a relaxed manner. Here, time doesn't count; what matters is participation: a short route, great impact – and a wonderful opportunity to show the little ones how easy it can be to help.

Hiking for a good cause
The proceeds from the charity hike benefit both the Förderkreis für krebskranke Kinder e.V. Aachen and the sports youth of the clubs in the Nordeifel. It is a project with heart and local connection. Of the 20 euros entry fee, an additional 10 euros will go into the donation pot.
