The festivities kick off on Saturday with a ceremonial gathering, followed by a parade through the decorated village, accompanied by marching bands and guests of honor. A convivial evening follows in the festival tent, where a lively atmosphere and a sense of togetherness set the tone for the start of the festival weekend. As the festival progresses, the traditional elements of the Schützenfest take center stage: the communal church service, festive events at the Schützenplatz, and a colorful parade in which the royal couple and numerous delegations from partner clubs bring the village to life.

In the evening, the King’s Ball is held in honor of the reigning monarchs. A special highlight is the shooting competition to select the new monarchs, where athletic ambition, excitement, and jubilation come together. Week 26 / Issue 13 The festival comes to a fitting conclusion with the Coronation Ball and remains a fond memory as a lively, unifying event.
