Lit.Eifel: "Club der toten Eifeldichter"
Oct 21, 2026
Hellenthal
With her uniquely open manner, Tamina Kallert takes us along on her “Wunderschön!” trips, offering rare behind-the-scenes glimpses, inspiring shifts in perspective, and personal impressions: Always following the deep longing for connection that lies within all of us—whether with other people, the environment, or ourselves.
Yet it’s often the small, unassuming moments in our interactions with others that prove to be particularly formative. They highlight the beauty of the moment and show how the joy of discovery enriches life. All it takes is the courage to see the unknown as an enrichment in order to discover new qualities of life time and again!
Tamina Kallert, born in 1974, studied history and English literature and went on to work as a host, reporter, and writer at Westdeutscher Rundfunk, ProSieben, and Deutsche Sportfernsehen. Since 2004, she has hosted the WDR travel magazine “Wunderschön,” and since 2015, she has also hosted the city travel series “2 für 300.” Together with the WDR Funkhaus Orchestra, she regularly hosts beautiful travel concerts. Tamina Kallert is a successful author; her two books, “Mit kleinem Gepäck” and “Und dann kommt das Meer in Sicht,” became bestsellers. She is married and lives with her family in Freiburg im Breisgau.
