Sam Feuerbach began writing his first short stories at the age of twelve. One day, a strange box containing three books landed on his bedside table. It looked green, black and cheap. The cover was made of thin cardboard. But after ten pages, Sam was hooked. He had never heard of these strange little creatures called hobbits. Since then, fantasy has been as much a part of Sam's life as brushing his teeth and waiting at red lights.

On his way to adulthood (a process that continues to this day), Sam is accompanied by some of the old masters of fantasy literature. He is inspired by the humor of Robert Asprin, the power of George R. R. Martin's dialogue and the force of Joe Abercrombie's words.
A few decades later, Sam's heroes are older, the humor more mature, the heroes crueler, the tone rougher and, above all, the heartbreaking antagonists much more intelligent. This mixture, enriched with gentle irony and bitter cynicism, results in fantasy for young and older adults (aged 14 and over).
