Leederovend op Ööskerchener Platt! – Mit »Kwint un Kwacht«

We welcome the duo "Kwint un Kwacht". Behind the name are Martin Sina and Paul Bremen from Euskirchen, who bring the Ööskerechener Platt – a variant of Ripuarian – to life with their own dialect songs.
Singer and songwriter Martin Sina writes profound, poetic lyrics about what connects people: family, home, the feeling of being at home. His songs are lyrically delicate, reflective, and yet relatable – they tell stories of the joy of the little things in everyday life and the moments that shape us.
By his side stands Paul Bremen, a master of string instruments. Whether guitar, violin, or mandolin – Bremen knows how to give the songs a special sound with his virtuosic playing. Together, the two create a musical atmosphere that is as warm as it is diverse.
The program of "Kwint un Kwacht" consists exclusively of their own dialect songs, which musically fluctuate between blues, bossa, pop, and jazz. This creates a versatile evening that shows how lively and touching our regional language can sound.
Look forward to an atmospheric Leederovend in Ööskerechener Platt, where music, dialect, and stories from everyday life come together for a special concert experience.
The event takes place as part of our LEADER-funded project "Uns Sproch es Heimat", which advocates for the preservation and vibrant transmission of our regional language – and admission is free!
