Electric blues refers to any kind of blues music played with electric amplification of the musical instruments.
The first instrument that became popular among blues musicians in its amplified version was the guitar.
Later, the electric bass, which replaced the double bass, the electric organ, keyboards, and the blues harp were added. It was played through a small microphone.
