The prejudices attached to the instrument "alphorn" are a thing of the past!
You won't hear any clumsy Lederhosen-Dirndl-Heimat-Bergromantik-Volksmusik-Getröte at the concert.
Instead, you will be offered a varied repertoire, including tango, jazz, rock, polka, Latin and bluegrass.

Brilliantly played alphorns and an expressive female voice take you into a cosmos of global sounds and musical adventures with plenty of creativity and humor. The basis is laid by the almost four-meter-long original instruments. Mystical, meditative sounds from the Alps unfold and take you on a journey through different styles.
Together with Victoria Riccio's voice, a "band feeling" is created and suddenly you think you are in Italy, Argentina, Mexico, the USA or the Orient.
The ensemble has given over 350 concerts throughout Europe, as well as performances for radio and TV, in parks and old towns, in courtyards and barns, in museums and churches, on the water, on rooftops and in industrial areas.

Martin Thüringer plays the bass alphorn. In addition to the "F" alphorn, he also plays an "E flat" alphorn. This doubles the possible number of bass notes - a quantum leap for the music and a unique spectacle when he lets his lips "fly" from instrument to instrument.
ebasa Pallada (not a typo!) is the melodic alphorn player; in addition to his virtuoso alphorn playing, he adds laid-back beats and grooves to the sound.
The special thing about the trio from Cologne has always been the combination of alphorns and vocals. The part of the singer is filled by Victoria Riccio from the USA, with a passion and stage presence that is second to none.
If she wasn't already there, this voice would have to be invented for alphorns.
