Most people are probably familiar with the song about Himpelchen and Pimpelchen, Heinzelmann and Zwerg, who famously climbed a mountain, sat up there for a long time and wiggled their pointed hats in an apparently unmotivated manner. This procedure lasted a whole 37 weeks before the two crawled into the mountain and slept there "in good peace".
So much for the known part of the story.
What has remained unknown until now is the purpose and the course of this memorable alpine undertaking.
Here, the production by "theater 1" sheds light on the darkness and the audience can share in these findings.
In a story with simple, clear images and two lovable puppets, the two actors and puppeteers show the young audience that caution and consideration are two very important elements for togetherness.
