Fresh air, movement, and a view of greenery – all of this is good for body and soul! But it can get even better: Among the diverse plants in the greenery, there are edible wild herbs, aromatic fruits, and valuable healing plants waiting to be discovered by you. As trained herbal experts, we will guide you on a round trip of about 10 kilometers through nature. Join us on the journey and discover the green treasures of the Eifel.

OUR WILD HERB HIKES IN THE EIFEL
In the varied hilly landscape, you will explore the diversity of plants in their natural habitat under guidance. You will learn to safely identify wild plants such as nettles, foam herbs, wild carrots, linden, hawthorn, & Co. and find out which plants are suitable for herbal cuisine or home pharmacy. And of course, you will learn important collecting rules that concern the protection of nature.

WHAT TO EXPECT ON THE HERB HIKE
• Identification and Collecting: Depending on the season, you can expect to find edible wild herbs, tree leaves, wild fruits, and roots. You will also come across some poisonous plants, thereby expanding your knowledge base.
• Collecting Rules and Sustainability: Get tips on how to responsibly collect wild plants while protecting nature. We will also show you good collecting locations and provide practical advice on collecting in public spaces.
• Herbal Cuisine and Recipes: You will learn which wild herbs are particularly suitable for the kitchen or home pharmacy, how they contribute to health through valuable ingredients and unique flavors, and how delicious they are!
• Expert Guidance: At least 10 wild plants will be introduced in detail during the hike – including tips, recipes, and tricks for their use.

NATURE EXPERIENCE AND PRACTICAL KNOWLEDGE TO TAKE AWAY
After the tour, you will be able to independently identify and safely gather edible wild plants. You will return home with new knowledge, inspiring recipes, and a deeper understanding of nature.
