Getting out and about, enjoying the wintry landscape of the Northern Eifel, and sipping a delicious glass of mulled wine along the way—that’s exactly what awaits you at the GlühweinSchleifen in the town of Blankenheim.

Along the approximately 10-kilometer-long hiking trail, several mulled wine stands between Waldorf and Alendorf invite you to take a warming break between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. There’s no set starting time and no predetermined order: you hike at your own pace.
Whether with friends, family, or as a leisurely winter stroll—the GlühweinSchleife combines exercise, a wintery atmosphere, and good company.
