Geführte Wanderung "Zu den Heiligen am Blenser Panoramaweg"
May 29, 2026 - Jun 5, 2026
Heimbach-Blens
The romantic Eifel village with old half-timbered houses is nestled between meadows, pastures, and fields. The narrow valley of the Rur transitions here to a wide floodplain landscape. We first hike through the open landscape over the Höller Berg. Along the way, we have splendid views of the sandstone cliffs Jufferley, Breidesley, and Engelsley - also known as Uhufelsen. Later, we hike along the floodplains of the Rur towards Heimbach. On a narrow hiking path, we make a turn and walk back to the starting point. Here, we have great views over the Hausener Busch to the Sonnenberg. During the hike, you will also learn interesting facts about various saints from the region around Blens.
