We hike on natural paths above the Eifel rivers Kall and Tiefenbach. From there, you have great views of the idyllic valley. In the background, the Eifel mountains provide an impressive panorama time and again. Rugged rocks and mystical forests make the hike consistently varied. The dense forests and deep gorges claimed many victims in the last war. Although nature has overgrown the destruction over time, the brutal battles in the Hürtgen Forest are not forgotten. During the hike, we will get a close look at some bunkers of the Westwall. In the end, the old bunkers have turned out to be useful, as they now provide sufficient protection for the local bats to hibernate.
