Guided hike "Through the valley of the Weidenbach"

Experience an unforgettable hike through a fascinating landscape on the edge of the Eifel National Park. Right at the start, a breathtaking view opens up before us over the impressive Rursee lake, nestled in the gentle mountain ranges of the Eifel. Take some time to enjoy this panorama in peace and quiet - it is the perfect start to our varied tour.

We initially follow the mountain paths, which give us wide views over forests, meadows and valleys. The path soon becomes narrower and leads us down into the valley along natural paths. We take in the charm of this natural paradise. At the idyllic Weidenbach stream, the hike becomes a little adventure. The stream meanders picturesquely through forests and open meadows - a place that seems straight out of a picture book. The crossing of the Weidenbach promises both excitement and an experience of nature - waterproof hiking boots are a loyal companion here.

Another highlight awaits us at the Heinrich-Geis-Stollen. This inconspicuous structure bears witness to the engineering skills of bygone times and invites us to take a look at the history of the region. We finally climb uphill again to Steckenborn along varied forest paths. At the top, we are rewarded with a magnificent finale: a picturesque view of the Dreiborn plateau all the way to the Ordensburg Vogelsang - a view that makes the hike unforgettable.
