From Feyermühle, the trail leads on the Roman Canal Hiking Path to Lessenich and further to the site of the Roman estate at Antweiler. From there, the hike continues past Wachendorf, through the village of Rißdorf, and past Weiler am Berge back to Feyermühle.
Along the way, hikers can expect to see some interesting exposures of the Roman aqueduct in Hombusch. In the Mechernicher Forest, the question of why there were two parallel pipelines here will be specifically examined.

In addition to information about the Eifel water supply – the third longest in the Roman Empire and the largest technical structure north of the Alps – hikers will also learn about various tourist highlights to the left and right of the hiking path. Reinhard Schweinheim
