Family hike "From Simmerath to Dedenborn"

Meeting point: REWE parking lot/ Simmerath

Time: 10:00 AM (formation of carpooling)

Distance: 13 km (approx. 3.5-4 hours of walking time including breaks)

After starting in Simmerath, the hike initially takes us to Kesternich. Skirting the Eiserbach Valley (weather permitting), we then proceed along the ridge of the Tiefenbach Valley towards the “Laubholz” farms. Well-rested, we dare to descend into the Rurtal. Always on the south side of the “Rur” mountains, we finally head towards Dedenborn. Afterwards, it is possible to stop for refreshments in Simmerath.
