Valerie Fritz
The Austrian cellist Valerie Fritz explores her instrument from electronics to gut strings, in both contemporary and classical music. Equally open and detail-oriented, she approaches works and audiences. With her broad repertoire, she demonstrates – often in her own concert programs and new performance formats – how strongly all styles benefit from looking beyond their own horizons.
