Experience a varied hike through the impressive nature between the Eifel River Kall and the idyllic Keltzerbach Valley. Over approximately ten kilometers, you can expect a fascinating mix of nature-friendly forest and meadow paths as well as challenging hiking trails. About 300 elevation meters will be covered – rewarded with impressive nature experiences.

Our tour begins at the lively Kall. From there, the path steadily ascends through a species-rich mixed forest. After a while, we reach the Kalltalsperre. Here you'll learn interesting facts about the construction of the historic Kallstollen and its important significance for the water supply of the Eifel region. Afterwards, we immerse ourselves in the tranquil beauty of the Keltzerbach Valley. The creek meanders romantically between massive rock formations, creating a very special atmosphere. Another highlight of our hiking tour is an ancient and impressive spruce tree, which has watched over the valley for decades. After a short ascent, the landscape opens up, and we reach vast meadow areas with beautiful views over the surrounding Eifel landscape. A geological highlight of the hike is the Kaiserfelsen – a prominent rock formation that formed around 400 million years ago during the Devonian period. To conclude, the path leads us back to the floodplains of the Kall, where our adventurous hike ends amidst the pristine nature of the Eifel.
