An adventurous hiking tour especially for hot days.

On hot summer days, the forest reveals its true superpower, as it not only provides shade but also cools the air through evaporation. This way, you can enjoy this hike even on hot summer days. In Heimbach, we initially walk along the cooling Rur river. Under the shady crowns of oaks and beeches, we begin our steep ascent along a hiking trail. Along the way, we cross a small mountain stream. Anyone who wishes can refresh their arms and face with the clear water. It’s a magical moment when a hiking path transforms into a narrow forest path - you feel as if you are standing in a hall of trees. As soon as we reach the top, we will have a fantastic view of the beautiful Eifel landscape. We continue under the leafy canopy of mighty beeches, which provide us with pleasant shade for quite a while. Sometimes, young beeches also line the path as a guard.
