This demanding hike mainly follows root-covered and rocky trails, requiring surefootedness and good physical condition. The route runs over the ridges and through the valleys between Belgenbach and Rur. Along the way, selected viewpoints offer you impressive panoramic views over the Monschau region. Cultural highlights include the historic sawmill in the Kluckbach valley and the former mill at Belgenbach with its chapel. Another highlight is the view from the Alsdorf summit cross over the valley surrounding the Belgenbach. The hike combines a varied landscape with a unique nature experience.
