The Cologne band has succeeded in a unique way in immortalizing their attitude to life, zeitgeist and city history in their songs.
Songs in the Cologne dialect instead of cover songs of English hits: this move by Bläck Fööss in 1970 marked the beginning of a new chapter in the history of the Rhineland carnival. Many of their hits have long since become popular songs - even those that are not thematically related to the fifth season.

More than almost any other band, the Bläck Fööss have managed to inspire audiences for five decades with their unmistakable and successful style with no less than 43 albums, over 450 songs and countless concerts and performances.
The band's contribution to the preservation of the Cologne language is generally recognized, and many songs from their vast repertoire have long since become evergreens. Some have even achieved the status of folk songs and are now firmly part of the Cologne song repertoire.

The musicians have always remained true to their music and their fans. A little rejuvenated, but still 100% Bläck Fööss, the band goes on tour. Fans can look forward to a journey through the band's varied repertoire.
