It has long become a good tradition: When the new year has barely begun, festive music takes over the Mechernich town hall. Then violins, violas, and cellos resonate there with an intensity that one would normally expect in large concert halls. In 2026, the renowned chamber orchestra, the "Mainzer Musici" under the direction of Prof. Benjamin Bergmann, will continue this cultural custom.

As in previous years, the concert serves a good purpose. With this, the musicians combine their artistic ambition with lived charity – a thought that touches particularly during the Christmas season and at the beginning of the year.
