Many of the pictures on display were created in Bruneck, in South Tyrol's Pauser Valley, which has been a second home for the Bonn-based artist for almost 60 years. It was here that he discovered his love of pastels. "The casual, informal play with colored pencils escalated into a veritable frenzy of colors in pastel chalks - they became the discovery of my very own symbiosis of drawing and painting, of line and color."
