Rupperath is a town with a long weaving tradition. Discover the impressive collection of historical spinning equipment (hand spindles, spindle wheels, spinning wheels in various designs), reels and winches as well as weaving equipment (looms from the Eifel, weaving equipment from various continents) and thus 6000 years of cultural history of spinning and weaving in the Hand Weaving Museum.

In June and July, the Handweaving Museum will be showing fabric collages and embroideries by Monika Gornik in the exhibition "Inside and Outside". The artist finds inspiration for her textile works of art in the natural surroundings of Bad Münstereifel and in her own garden. Further ideas are provided by sayings which, lovingly embroidered, have adorned living rooms since ancient times.
