Woffelsbach has been transformed from a small farm into a popular vacation resort with numerous water and nature-based leisure activities since the Rursee was enlarged in the mid-1950s and tourism began soon afterwards. Even though part of the area has fallen victim to the lake, a lot of things worth seeing have been preserved, as we can see on our tour.
